We assess every student in a free trial class and recommend the appropriate level. Most new students start at Beginner even if they know the basics, to ensure no gaps in foundation.
We recommend hybrid. Online runs on weekdays (via Zoom), offline runs on weekends (at our Banashankari centre). With hybrid you can attend either — so a missed class for any reason (school event, travel, illness, or a coach reschedule) doesn't cost you a week of chess. Same single fee covers all three modes.
If you are enrolled in hybrid mode, a missed online class can be attended in an offline batch in the same week (or vice versa). This is the main reason we recommend hybrid. Please note: unused classes do not carry over from one month to the next — all classes are valid only within the month they are billed for.
Yes, all study materials, puzzles, and homework are included in the fee. We also recommend books for purchase for serious students.
We provide monthly progress reports and conduct periodic assessments. Parents can also discuss progress anytime via WhatsApp or during review meetings.
